Group Classes Coming up!
Change of Schedule
Our owner (Heather) is currently on maternity leave so our regular group classes are on hold until July!
Private classes are still available in the meantime with our additional instructor (Christy) if you are interested in the meantime or you can check out the membership section and see if that is in your wheelhouse!
Membership!
Currently, Mud in Motion is offering an opportunity for studio membership! Experienced potters who are ready to use the studio (even without an instructor present) are invited to join the studio and use the space.
The price for this is $120 and you are welcome to use all materials including glazes and reclaimed clay (as available). Additional clay may be purchased directly from Heather if you need it or you can order other clays and glazes (approved by her) from other vendors.
To join the membership, you must have completed at least one Mud in Motion class (and/or be an already established potter with an understanding of Mud in Motion as a studio). Please do not attempt joining if you do not meet these qualifications.

July Adult Classes (16+)
Due to an extended maternity leave, our regular group classes will be starting back in July!
We will offer classes on:
Monday afternoons (July 20th-August 10th) from 1-4pm
Monday nights (July 20th-August 10th) from 6-9pm
Tuesday afternoons (July 21st-August 11th) from 1-4pm
For those classes, all materials will be provided. Classes are 3 hours each with 4 sessions included, equalling 12 hours of class time at $120! So it equals out to $10 an hour.
These classes are through continuing education at Beaufort County Community College but are held at Mud in Motion studio.

Kids Day Camps!
Kids Day camps are being offered this summer at Mud in Motion through Beaufort County Community College! The schedule for our kids camps are as follows:
Kids (Rising grades 3rd-8th)
July 20th-July 24th
9am to 12pm
Teens (Rising grades 7th-12th)
July 27th-July 31st
9am-12pm
Kids (Rising grades 3rd-8th)
August 3rd-August 7th
9am to 12pm
Teens (Rising grades 7th-12th)
August 10th-August 14th
9am to 12pm
Private Group Classes
A one night wonder class!
Classes will need to be scheduled on Thursdays and Fridays with at least a two weeks advance notice.
Classes will be held during a 2 hour window of time between 9am-5pm (Classes after 5pm and/or on weekends will be an additional $10 per person)
Group of:
1 person $80
2-4 people $70 per person
5-7 people $60 per person
8 people $55 per person
9+ people $50 per person
maximum of 12 students
An additional glazing fee of $10 (per piece) will be applied if you want your piece fired and glazed. (It can be worked out for you to come back in and glaze yourself again at a later date or I can glaze it for you.)
*Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult*
